Meet Wesley Drake III
Wesley has 22 years of experience with GPOs and sales of pharmacy related products. He is currently partnering with pharmacy-adjacent startup companies. Most recently he was a Regional Business Consultant for Pharmacy Owners Alliance.
Over the last ten years, he observed a significant shift in the pharmacy market dynamics, with increasing control from Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and diminishing profit margins for pharmacies. This transformation created a challenging environment for independent pharmacies, and he saw a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Recognizing the pivotal role independent pharmacies play in their communities, Wesley was inspired to leverage his expertise and skill set to empower them. He envisioned Mallard Backing as a vehicle to provide these pharmacies with tangible and sustainable cash opportunities, enabling them to survive and thrive in this evolving landscape.
